We are a community-based organization dedicated to providing humanitarian relief to children whose health has been affected by the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear accident. Our primary focus is on providing young children with a six-week recuperative home stay which allows them to strengthen their weakened immune systems. |

Nevada Theater
The Nevada Theatre is a recognized California Historical Landmark (No. 863). Celebrities such as Mark Twain, Jack London, and Emma Nevada have appeared on its stage. Closed in 1957, the theater was later purchased through public donations and reopened May 17, 1968, to again serve the cultural needs of our community. |

SNMH Foundation’s mission is "To provide philanthropic support for the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital to advance services that improve the health of our community." The Foundation's 10-Year Vision is to secure needed funds to help expand our Hospital's physical plant including the Cancer Center, Heart Center, and Emergency Room. In addition, SNMH Foundation will provide support for community education on health care issues, replace and upgrade technologies, provide access to health care for everyone in our community; and encourage our youth to become health care workers through Educational programs.
