About Susan Cox
I came to the field of Real Estate out of my love for historic houses, hotels, and public buildings. Historic properties are unique and require special attention and care from a Realtor who loves and appreciates these homes. As a Historian, former College History Instructor, and advocate for Historic Preservation, I am dedicated to the buying and selling of Historic Properties in Nevada County and to preserving our local History with its beautiful historic homes.
As a people person, I have an innate ability to understand and relate well with people which I believe is important as a Realtor. As a former College History Instructor, I learned how to adjust my classroom presentations to a constantly changing student body. I love working with people and feel joy when I can help them succeed in their dreams. I come from a large family and lived in the Bay Area for most of my life which exposed me to a diverse population of interesting people.
