Coldwell Banker Grass Roots Realty is honored and proud of REALTOR®, Pamela Morey, who organized the 17th annual Bridge of Giving happening on Sunday, November 5th from 10am to 3pm at the old Yuba Bridge on Hwy 49 in Nevada City.

Pamela supports the Food Bank of Nevada County, a non-profit organization and understands the urgent need for food donations to our less fortunate community members especially during the holiday season. The Bridge of Giving was the brainchild of Pamela who is an avid supporter of her community. Trying to think outside the box, Pamela wanted to come up with a way to help this cause while enjoying the beauty of Nevada County. She envisioned spanning the old bridge at the South Fork of the Yuba River with non-perishable food items then donating them through the food bank to needy recipients. Her first year was so successful Pamela was determined to continue the event every year.

In speaking with Pamela about this endeavor it was clear to see how enthusiastic she is about helping others while combining her love and passion for the river and its surrounding beauty. “I thought that if I could entice folks to the Yuba River in all its glory, while asking them to bring their food donations, it would be a win-win for all. Who doesn’t want to spend a lovely fall afternoon enjoying the crystal clear river waters, hiking the beautiful trails, or just strolling over the bridge? And all this while helping those in need,” said Pamela.
