Coldwell Banker Grass Roots Realty (CBGRR) is excited to announce the recent association of Sue Mayfield to their Penn Valley office at 11364 Pleasant Valley Road.
Sue joins our team of professional sales associates after years of living and working in Minneapolis, MN in the corporate business world.  Having had a professional career as Senior Accountant with nationally recognized companies, Sue’s eye for detail and investigative precision was further developed through her position as an Internal Auditor at the State of Minnesota.    Upon moving back to California, Sue saw more opportunity in real estate alongside the prospect of helping families find their dream homes.
Sue is available to assist her clients in selling or buying their starter home, luxury home or dream property.  She can even find suitable housing for those with environmental sensitivities. Sue is a certified Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) with the National Association of Realtors, so she can assist sellers and buyers with the tools necessary for appropriate pricing or competitive offers on homes.  In addition, her warm, helpful, can do attitude is a valuable asset to everyone she works with.   “We feel so fortunate to have Sue on our team.  We look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with her” says Diann Patton, Broker/Owner.
Sue is dedicated to serving her community.  In St. Paul, MN she served on the Board of Ally People Solutions, whose mission is to help community members with intellectual disabilities secure job placement.  In Nevada County, her community involvement continued when she was appointed to the Board of United Way of Nevada County (UWNC).  In this position, Sue is actively involved in community programs in UWNC’s three focus areas:  food, shelter and access to healthcare.  “I am proud to be a part of United Way’s mission here in the Gold Country, and to see how many great programs there are for community members, as well as the passion shared by so many volunteers.”
Sue lives in Penn Valley with her husband and two children.  Their family chose to move to Penn Valley because her husband, Beau Mayfield, grew up in the area and runs the Law Office of Beau Mayfield in the Wildwood Center.  Sue and her family enjoy the outdoors, especially camping and exploring all that Nevada County has to offer.
To reach Sue, please contact her at 916-718-6276 or email her at suemayfieldhomes@gmail.com.  CBGRR welcomes Sue with open arms to be a part of our strong team!
