One of the reasons we chose to revamp our website was due to the influx of erroneous data concerning real estate on the web today. Sites like Zillow and Trulia have a tremendous amount of real estate information available for the consumer; however we constantly find that this data is often inaccurate or obsolete. In this hot market we have recently entered, we find that buyers and sellers become frustrated when the information they are searching for is not up to date. Buyers want the opportunity to view listings from the comfort of their home, make contact with a real estate professional then view the properties they’ve narrowed down in their search. Often when we get the call to show the buyer a property, we experience their frustration when the property is no longer on the market and the website has not been updated.
We hear of similar frustration from sellers as well. Today’s norm is to showcase properties on as many websites as possible. When a seller either cannot find their home on the web, or finds incorrect facts, they also experience aggravation.
“We have tried to help our buyers and sellers overcome these issues by providing them with a comprehensive website with current, up-to-date information, so that they can know what they are viewing on our site is correct and complete” says Chad Lyon. “We also want to make it known that the public can come to our website to view ALL properties for sale. National websites may not show all properties for sale, only properties submitted by third party services. This makes our website the best tool for real estate in Nevada County.”
